Climate Battery with

An isolated thermal storage underneath the greenhouse that cools in the summer and warms in the winter.
Twelve perforated 4" drainage tubes
are run at 3 different levels (1,2,and 3 foot deep) 2 feet apart and use inexpensive plastic trashcans as manifolds.
Two marine grade fans push air through the tubes from one end to the other during the day. This condenses the hot humid air present in the greenhouse and stores this heat in the ground. Cool air is then returned back to the greenhouse. At night and when needed, the fans run again to provide the heat back to the greenhouse to help prevent freezing.

The T & R Crafts Climate Battery Controller
"In" is the greenhouse inside temperature. "Out" is the outside temperature. "CBin" is the temperature at the input of the ductwork. "CBout" is the temperature at the output of the ductwork. "Core" is the temperature of the ground under the greenhouse (about 2 1/2 feet down) in the center of the greenhouse. Fan "Speed" is a unitless value that has a range of 0 (off) to 255 (full on).
Controller is in "Rest" mode
Greenhouse Temperature is between 70F and 50F. Climate Battery fans are off.

Temperature input of fan blown air into the Climate Battery ducts is 79F and the output temperature of the Climate Battery ducts is 64F

Controller is in "Heat" mode
Greenhouse Temperature is 48F.
Temperature input of fan blown air into the Climate battery ducts is 48F and the output temperature of the Climate Battery ducts is 65F.
